 The Berman Center’s team of research nurses, financial and regulatory administrators collaborate to design, conduct and report results from a wide variety of clinical trials research. Because of its long and successful tenure conducting clinical trials, the Berman Center staff now includes individuals who coordinate activities at other clinical sites. The Berman Center clinical staff process approximately 65 prospective or actual research participants every week, in separate trials of varying size. Its long and successful tenure has led to the Berman Center to being named as clinical coordinating center for 2 large multi-site trials currently underway: ACCORD and SHARP. The Berman Center has also dedicated clinical research expertise toward applications in complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). |
