The Berman Center provides clinical research support
to local, national, and international investigators. It is currently
coordinating the regional clinics for ACCORD, coordinating all
U.S. clinics for SHARP, and is serving as a clinical site for other
trials.
In addition to recruiting, enrolling, and following clinical trials
participants, the Berman Center supports investigators at all stages
of the research process – from preparing applications for
funding, securing all necessary regulatory approvals, reconciling
expenses
and budgets, managing study data, analyzing and reporting study
results.
Findings from the Women's Health Initiative
Observational Study (WHI-OS) were published in the March 14,
2005 issue of JAMA's Archives
of Internal Medicine. You may read the press
